In the Role of the Integration Architect
Develop, implement and execute processes for the definition, maintenance and conformance management of the integration architecture
Update and oversee the Environment Management team, ensuring that theright integration patterns are maintained within the middleware;
Support the Environment Management team in understanding and elaborating of the capabilities of the middleware platform
Prepare and oversee implementation of integration solutions between the products in scope using pre-defined capabilities of the integration platform
Propose improvements to the integration platform, present them both internally and to the customer with clear value analysis, presenting all relevant architecture risks and mitigations;
Set up and maintain contacts with business units to understand business activities, drivers, and requirements; consider solution strategies and alternatives for possible implementation, and establish appropriate information system programs;
Provide architectural leadership in the resolution of inter-program and inter-project issues and advice management, business areas, etc.;
Create awareness, promote and communicate the enterprise architecture within the “Technology” division and other business units;
Continuously research and assess new analysis approaches for potential use, and provide recommendations and subject matter expertise regarding trends, technology, tools and services;
Check compliance within the enterprise architecture and reinforce adherence to standards, policies, procedures, etc.;
Perform any other task in line with the main purpose of the job
Must have Skills (Demonstrable experience required):
Ability to manage stakeholders at a CXO level.
Emotional Intelligence required to deal with people and influence them
Ability to manage lead, manage and direct a team of multi-disciplinary architects.
Demonstrable ability to distil complex idea into simple concepts which can presented and conveyed convincingly
Must have Required Qualification:
Hands on enterprise management experience including use of standard tools (Enterprise Architect credentials such as TOGAF, Open CA, ArchiMate, etc. would be advantage)
Hands on experience in operating and designing solution based on OpenShift (must have);
Experience in other technologies and tools including: Elastic Search, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Istio, MongoDB, Solace, Nginx, Squid, Okta, HashiCorp Vault, Azure;
Experience in designing complex integration and hosting platforms;
Hands on experience in design and operations of Integration, Messaging and Event Streaming solutions;
Air traffic domain experience (Flight, Flow, Routing, Capacity planning)
Employed/Contracted with large organisations
Ideally Belgium based – or ability to travel to Belgium on a regular basis for customer intimacy.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant integration architecture experience to perform the advertised tasks;
Experience in developing methods and techniques for modelling technologies;
Relevant experience acquired in the aviation or air transport industry would be considered an advantage;

Desirable: Completed university studies of 4 years (Master’s degree) in a relevant domain (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
