As the Chief Information Security Officer, you will play a critical, hands-on role in implementing, coordinating and enhancing the security & quality measures within Customs4trade. You will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive data, implementing robust security protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities Respond promptly to any incident or threat.
Develop and improve our security & quality strategy, in line with organisational goals and industry best practices.
Regularly report on the current state and progress of security & quality to senior management.
Improve and extend upon our certifications ISO 27001 & 9001 and develop strategies around future certifications.
Organise regular audits and security testing to identify weaknesses and recommend appropriate remedies.
Identify and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities and develop mitigation solutions.
Monitor and support customer related processes.
Create incident reports and monitor & assist in the resolution of incidents.
Maintain and improve ISMS & QMS and the included policies, procedures and registers.
Monitor and investigate automated security alerts.
Coordinate contacts with external IT & Security partners.
Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends, technologies, and regulations, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Organise security and quality training programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security & quality is embedded throughout the company and all processes.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, business administration or another technology-related field required.
We are open for you to work fulltime, parttime or 80%.
+5y of experience as a Chief Information Security Officer or in a similar senior-level information security role.
In-depth knowledge of information security concepts, protocols, and technologies.
Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001 & 9001.
Experience in developing and implementing information security strategies and policies.
Ability to manage cross team contacts.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
