Who are we looking for? As a Solution Architect you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing software solutions that drive our enterprise to new heights.
You'll blend creative thinking with strategic insights to design software solutions that fit seamlessly within our Enterprise Architecture framework. Your designs won't stop at the drawing board: they'll be validated at our Center of Enablement, where the collaborative synergy of diverse disciplines, including data, security, and infrastructure, ensures the excellence of your solutions.
Once the project is in motion, you'll be right there in the thick of it. From constructing proof of concepts to orchestrating integrations and aligning with infrastructure, you'll work hand-in-hand with project managers to make ideas come to life.
What are your duties?
Assist project stakeholders in capturing significant functional and non-functional requirements.
Clearly understand and document system boundaries (scope) and driving requirements.
Translate business problems into phased solution designs.
Define solution design, detailing architectural decisions and stakeholder views.
Validate architectural decisions, mitigate risks, and gain formal approval for designs.
Communicate solution architecture to business and IT stakeholders.
Ensure implementation adheres to principles, policies, and standards.
Act as integration analyst in complex E2E projects, deliver Integration POCs, and manage E2E integration tests.
Contributing to IT architectural principles and guidelines with the Enterprise Architect

Proven communication skills in technical and business language

Theoretical understanding of domain-driven design principles, with a preference for hands-on DDD experience
Demonstrated senior-level technology proficiency
Experienced in modeling techniques (e.g., story mapping, event storming)
Willingness to engage with various project methodologies
Passionate about staying updated with evolving technologies
Good knowledge of English is necessary, knowledge of French and / or Dutch is a plus
At least a master degree in Information Management or equivalent by experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the role of a solution architect, senior analyst or software development manager and a proven track record of at least 3 years in IT within a data driven, software development or -integration oriented organization.
Experience within processes of logistics service provider is a major plus
You have preferably a technical background in programming
You have a proven track record within the ICT domain related to software development, system integration, (enterprise) architecture, data modelling
