A leading services company is looking for a new CFO to join their team based in Brussels.
As CFO, you will play a central role in implementing the company's strategic plan, reporting directly to the CEO.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Provide financial management for all Group companies (5 countries)
The CFO coordinates a team of 35 people in the accounting, management control, internal audit and procurement departments
In the context of the strategic growth plan, the CFO analyses the quality of potential acquisitions and defines the expected growth of the various entities (acquisitions and existing business)
The CFO keeps the 3-year plan alive and provides regular feedback on the changes needed to the plan in order to achieve the objectives set
Presenting the financial results to the Executive Committee and advising on strategic decisions and the execution of the defined strategy
Communicating the Group's financial situation to the Supervisory Board, Boards of Directors, Works Council, People's Advisory Board and supervisory bodies
Maintains/establishes the contacts required by the function (auditors, supervisory authorities, specialists, etc.)
Participation in the implementation of a new ERP system
About you:
You have at least 10 years' experience, including experience as Group CFO in a company of significant size and complexity
You will have solid experience in managing various financial aspects such as accounting, taxation and management control. Experience in corporate development is also an advantage
Ideally, you will have worked in the services sector in a company with a certain level of complexity
You have successfully managed large teams in the past
In-depth knowledge of the financial sector, particularly insurance, would be an advantage
M&A experience would be highly valued
Mastery of international accounting standards such as IFRS, in particular IFRS 17, would be a major advantage
You are bilingual in French and Dutch, and have an excellent command of English
